Finished: A commission for Gabi Bolton

I wanted to share a couple of photos of a commission I have been working on...

It has been a fascinating process for me working to create someone else's designs and ideas, and working with Gabi's beautiful hand dyed raffia has been a joy; the colours are amazing.

It is so lovely to see the work finally in place. Gabi's work is currently on show until the 9th Nov. at The Cold Press in Holt, Norfolk. To view more of her work, please visit Originallittlebird.co.uk.

xx

p.s. do pop over to Handmade Monday...

  1. Wow! It's amazing to see raffia so beautifully crafted - I only ever associate raffia with hastily wrapped gifts ...

    1. Thank you. I didn't see the chair until the private view on Saturday! I was commissioned to make crochet flowers with raffia and Gabi turned them into that wonderful chair!
